SOCO Supports 6th Micro-Endodontics Training Camp with SC NiTi Rotary Files
On September 23–24, 2026, the 6th Micro-Endodontics Training Camp was held during the Silk Road Dental Congress. SOCO Dental supplied the full SC NiTi rotary file system used across the competition, supporting an 18-member instructor team and 13 competing teams in two days of intensive micro-endodontic hands-on training.

Why micro-endodontics demands more than classroom training
Micro-endodontics has become one of the fastest-growing directions in clinical dentistry. Working under a dental operating microscope, a clinician must manage far more than root canal anatomy alone — view stability, instrument flexibility, and continuous tactile feedback all have to work together.
This is exactly why so many dentists who studied microscopic techniques in school still find them difficult in practice: micro-endodontics is a skill built through repetition, not lectures. No amount of theory replaces hours of hands-on work.
The training camp was designed around that reality. Led by Professor Yu Qing, Professor Wang Wei, and Professor Wang Hanguo, the 18-member instructor team covered the complete workflow — from root canal anatomy and microscopic preparation through to obturation — combining theory with supervised clinical practice to strengthen core endodontic skills.
A competition format that compresses learning into pressure
Unlike a conventional workshop, the camp used an innovative team competition format. Thirteen teams competed and exchanged techniques side by side, compressing learning and practice into a single high-density environment.
For participating dentists, the pressure of competition closely mirrors real clinical work, where time is tight and the tolerance for error is low. Combined with expert instruction, it created a genuinely demanding platform for young clinicians.
SC NiTi rotary files: instruments tested under real pressure
Endodontic competition is not only a test of skill — it is a stress test of instrument performance. Under continuous high-intensity use, the flexibility, cutting efficiency, and smooth handling of a NiTi file are pushed to their limits. Any inconsistency shows up immediately in the operator’s rhythm.
As a manufacturer specialising in precision dental instruments, SOCO Dental supplied SC NiTi rotary files to every competing team throughout the event, allowing participants to focus fully on technique. From competition to clinic, SOCO continues to support the advancement of endodontic care through precision instruments.
Feedback from clinicians and instructors
During the practical rounds, SC NiTi rotary files received positive feedback from both competitors and instructors for their smooth handling, reliable flexibility, and compatibility. Across repeated high-intensity use, they maintained consistent performance — letting operators keep their attention on the procedure itself.

SC NiTi rotary file system: built for micro-endodontics
Micro-endodontic treatment places three core demands on instruments: flexible without fracturing, efficient without over-cutting, and clear tactile feedback. The SC NiTi rotary file system is designed around all three, suited to routine microscopic preparation and root canal retreatment.
- Material & construction: NiTi alloy balancing flexibility with fatigue resistance, suited to curved canals.
- Handling: Clear cutting feedback, allowing controlled preparation paths under the microscope.
- System compatibility: Works with rotary endodontic motors, covering the full preparation workflow.
- Applications: Microscopic preparation, root canal retreatment, complex canal anatomy.

From competition floor to clinic: why this matters for buyers
Supporting an event like this is not simply brand exposure for SOCO. It is a real-world pressure test of our instruments — every piece of feedback from clinicians on the competition floor feeds directly back into product iteration.
It is also why we are comfortable putting our products directly into the hands of third-party clinicians, without controlling the conditions. For distributors and clinic groups evaluating a supplier, that willingness is usually a more useful signal than any specification sheet.
Frequently Asked Questions
What does the Micro-Endodontics Training Camp cover?
The programme covers the complete endodontic workflow — root canal anatomy, microscopic preparation, and obturation. It is taught by an 18-member instructor team led by Professor Yu Qing, Professor Wang Wei, and Professor Wang Hanguo, combining structured lectures with supervised hands-on practice.
Are SC NiTi rotary files suitable for micro-endodontic treatment?
Yes. SC NiTi rotary files are made from NiTi alloy with good flexibility and fatigue resistance, and provide clear cutting feedback. They are well suited to procedures requiring precise path control under the microscope, including microscopic preparation and root canal retreatment.
Does SOCO Dental offer OEM manufacturing for endodontic instruments?
Yes. SOCO Dental specialises in precision dental instrument manufacturing. SC NiTi rotary files and related endodontic instruments can be customised under OEM arrangements, with configuration adjusted to your market’s regulatory requirements and clinical preferences.
